Looks like a video game to me! In fact, it looks pretty much like a Yoshi's Island game to me! Eeeeeeexcept, the level design and mechanics themselves seem to be shallower/worser/not as cleverly used as in the original. I'm also not a big fan of what did with the music, or rather, didn't do.

It'd be interesting to see how the 3D elements play into this version of the game, though.
