Myths, religions, and folklore from Japan. The two main religions of Japan have traditionally been Shintōism and Buddhism, although like most nations, there is much further complexity. A great deal of legends and figures from neighboring countries were also adapted for Japan.
A bizarre creature with a woman's head on its tail and a mouth but no eyes on its other "head". Its name translates to "prostitute lizard".
A yōkai from Japanese folklore. It's a weasel with sharp sickles on its appendages (sometimes just front legs and tail) and thought to cause windstorms.
