    Popularity

Bam Margera first came into the public eye through his appearances in promotional videos for punk band CKY, which his brother plays drums for, which featured their music set to skate sessions and pranks. Bam was introduced to a wider audience as a regular on the MTV stunt/hidden camera show, Jackass. (and the movies that followed) He was noted for his anarchic attitude and pranks pulled on his friends, co-stars, and family members. This led to him being given his own show, Viva La Bam, which was also a huge success. He also starred in Bam's Unholy Union, which chronicled his marriage to now wife Missy and guest appearances on MTV events and sister stunt show, The Dudesons.

    Video Game Career

Inbetween Jackass and Viva La Bam, Bam made his first video game debut as a playable version of himself in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and has been a regular ever since. His in-game persona is largely based on his MTV persona. For example, one trick the player can perform which the Bam character can immediately use, is called "The Jackass". This move, when performed, causes the skateboard to flip into a player's face. As the games started to feature more dialogue and become more plot driven, Bam's activities were given more focus. Tony Hawk's Underground 2: World Destruction Tour, which also featured his obese father Phil Margera as a playable character, shown more of a spotlight on Bam because of his rising popularity from Viva La Bam.

Other than the Tony Hawk franchise, Bam has not done a lot of video game work. Despite being part of the original series, Bam did not provide his voice for Jackass: The Game. Currently, his only other non-Hawk game credit was for Scarface: The World is Yours, where he played a liquor store owner.
