ahhhhh, good ol' medical horror stories.

Always have/find a good dentist - it is worth it. I travel five hours (on a ferry and a highway) to go to my dentist who I have seen for 37 years. (Nantucket MA to Eastern CT) There are A LOT of crappy dentists....if you think you have a bad dentist you probably do. A good dentist makes nearly anything painless, they are skillful at their work, and their work last decades. I have nearly 40 year old work that is still solid, and the guy is nice - asks about my family, my job, my last vacation which he remembers from the last visit. I will never stop going to this guy until either he or I are dead.

This bug that shows the side image bellow the video when you have the "Embiggen" mode turned on has been annoying me way more than it should, specially now that they're putting side images on every video.

Dan I got $20 for you. And those dips probably make more money back in KC than you do out here!

Jason, I am 100% serious about this as a person with a seriously fucked up back (multiple surgeries and a congenital condition) you need to hang. Get a pull up bar, and hang on it for 10 minutes. That and invest an inversion table. Go all the way upside down on that motherfucker for like 20 minutes a day. Hang like a motherfucking bat. I haven't seen a chiropractor or a doctor of any kind for my back in 3 years. Changed my life.

I think I'm gonna go buy a fancy electric toothbrush sometime soon. Not sure where I got the inspiration to all of a sudden but I think it'd be beneficial to my health.

It's a little thing but, I think I preferred it when the podcast was by date instead of by episode number. I like it better for historical context.

I haven't listened to the podcast yet so this comment has nothing to do with anything. It's just a thought I had when I saw that this week's podcast was up. That's all.

I came here to ask what in the hell Jeff is thinking with that kind of logic ... did you ever think that maybe some people literally can't use controllers? It would be so upsetting if a game took away the only means of which I can play games on the only system I care about ...

also ... why would a HDMI make a difference in frame rate? Even Jason started stating how that makes no difference ... kind of weird Jeff would think that OR the fact that they are advertising the new consoles as needing "ultra" HDMI cables (one of the biggest scams ever, a 3 dollar hdmi is equivalent to a 150 dollar HDMI - source? worked at a company who was in bed with Monster cables and the people from Monster would even comment how they don't use their own cables at home unless given to them by the company).

Am I alone in thinking that the reboot of Battlefield indicates their roadmap?

Battlefield 2 = WW2

Battlefield 3 = WW3

@rongaryen: Agreed there's been more than a dozen times where I've looked for discussions about older games by the weeks they release as well as their things and the titles have really bugged me for being able to look them up later.

Also, Brad is thinking about Dragon Quest the wrong way. His saves for each chapters remain in those chapters and each chapter is basically a different Civilization scenario. Where the goal is to win that chapter and then you restart.

Think about each chapter like Civ where you're supposed to restart over and over and you will have a much better time.

Chapter 1 is about building a base and base defenses

Chapter 2 is about finding people and keeping them healthy because you need them to fight monsters and the low lying nature of your base makes building a moat ineffective so you have to confront hordes of enemies with your army of townspeople

And three and four combine both those playstyles in more intense ways
