Avit, Inc. is a Japanese video game development studio located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

Avit was founded on December 27, 1995 by the original name of Audio Video Interactive Technology by former developers from Technos Japan's Niigata office. The company was renamed to Avit, Inc. on March 21st, 1996.

On February 1st, 1999 the company split their main office from their development, moving the main office to Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo from Niigata City.

On December 5, 2002 the development studio officially became its own entity called Avit-Niigata.
