    Backstab is a skill utilized most commonly by rogues. By attacking from behind an opponent, backstabs significantly increase the damage dealt. Sometimes a backstab can mean a one hit kill.

    Overview

    A backstab, as the name suggests, is a stab to the back. Usually inflicted with a knife or a dagger, it's a quick and stealthy attack which usually results to instant death. Video game characters that use this attack are usually spies, assassins or rogues. A backstab can't work without stealth and can't work if the enemy knows the player is there. A backstab is basically dealing a blow when the person least expects it.

    A backstab can also mean a betrayal, a low blow that can completely change a game's plot. For more information about this sort of backstab, go to the
