Having a Call of Duty release every year was getting old back when World At War came out, now it is almost a sick joke.

Not very excited. I don't know if Black Ops will offer anything I haven't seen before.

I want to play the SP but I don't think I'm gonna spend time on the MP since it's the same in every COD where you have to play a billion hours to get to the max rank.

I'd say 1, but only because the trailer makes this game seem like it won't be entirely a clone of the previous 3 games.
 
RIP CoD, 1 was great, 2 was awesome, 3, bad, and 4, It was ok, it had a memorable story.

8 because of the dedicated servers, I'm looking forward to play 22 vs. 22 players on low ping servers of 30 to 60 than 120 p2p matchmaking.

I would say a 5. They've been super cryptic about what they're putting into the game, but unlike most people I have faith in Treyarch. The only COD game they made that was really  bad was COD 3, and even that had ok singleplayer.

A 5 hour campaign I'll finish in one sitting then never play again.
 
A multiplayer that will be fun at first, but will soon become so frustrating that I break my controller and vow never to buy a Call of Duty game again.

It would help if you explained which one meant more hype. I enjoy MW2, but I'm not that into COD or FPS games as a whole. Doesn't help that its a Treyarch game.

Yeah, there's no way I'm getting this game. Treyarch made WaW after CoD4 and it sucked. I don't think Black Ops will be any better.

I wanted to give it a 0, But I said 1 just for nostalgia reasons.

I put a five.  Realistically, I'll end up getting this game, because I'm an idiot and just a sucker for CoD games.  At least I'm not in denial like some people :p

as of now about a 5... i want to see their co-op they got planned.. also i hope that they stick with 3 kill streaks only. and no death streaks. made it a tad more balanced..

I liked WaW.  The zombie part anyway.  Who knows how good this game could be?

i'd say 2 i have mild interest in the single player, but i have no interest in playing multiplayer in a call of duty game ever again

Even outside of Treyarch doing it. I despise Activision at this point, they have shown they don't give a shit about their players, so I don't give a shit about any of their games.

Definitely 0. I stopped buying Call of Duty games after buying Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Modern Warfare 2 was alright, but I don't see myself getting this game at all.

No campaign co-op equals :(.

Never really gave into hype, I am looking forward to seeing what it will bring though.

Don't like online multiplayer, and I know that the price will stay at above $40 for a long time, thus I have no interest in the game, at least not until something like 2014.

I'm not really sure. I think the game looks great, it's just that me and the dude's I used to run with in COD4 and MW2 have all graduated from college and have jobs. This makes it hard to find time to play together. No decent party members = poop online experience.

i'd much prefer to see treyarch work on something of their own that isn't the exact same thing every year, regardless of developer. whether or not i agree with them, they've proven to critics that they are somewhat competent at making video games, so they should channel that creativity into a creation of their own, not somebody else's.

Slightly. Treyarch can make some good stuff. They have a lot of proving themselves to do though. I won't be excited for another Modern Warfare reskinning, no matter how awesome the zombie mode is.

5 or 6.  For as much as gamers love to hate on the series now, it's still decent fun even if it is getting a little old getting a very similar game every year.

I'll definitely buy COD:BO but I'm really more excited for Medal of Honour and Spec Ops....
