Hey, if you punch "Giant Bomb" into the search field on the server browser, you should find the three Black Ops dedicated servers that Will set up for us yesterday. Just wanted to let you know! I'll probably try to check them out tonight (assuming they're not full).

Weird, I can't find the servers. The first letter in the name is G? (as in Giant bomb is the first word?)

I was playing on "Treyarch DOM #5" (I think) and my friend was unable to find it despite turning off all filters. So, I am guessing the problem is that some servers just don't show up on the server list for some people. Not sure why.

Erm, how do I search for the Giantbomb server? I don't see any box to type down Giantbomb. Or do I have to do it manually?

As far as I can tell, you must search manually. The /connect command doesn't seem to work.

You can have Black Ops, I'll keep playing with the Tested TF2 server... or maybe the Minecraft one.. felt burned out by the last one so I'm not too interested with Black Ops this time around.

Hm, the filtering option seems to be buggy -> can't find the GB servers either.

Wish they would patch the PC version of the game soon. Maybe they will before TNT tonight? Ahhh, I doubt it. :(

Although on low, Bops is working on PC for me........but how do I find the server? (I'll try tomarrow when I wake up).

It's made like that to really ensure that pirates can't play online.
 
I'll take that over p2p hosting (I feel for you 360 players who may never have felt the pleasure of a dedicated server) any time of day.

Damn, this is a bit of a disaster. No way to connect directly to a server in-game, and no search feature. Not only that, they limit the amount of servers you can see when you browse, since they're already overloaded.
There is an RCon tool available (Should be under Library -> Tools in Steam) but you need the server IP, and the server needs a password before you can connect to it. Great job Treyarch.
