    CLICK Entertainment

    Company »

Founded by former Blizzard employees that worked on the original Diablo, CLICK Entertainment developed the Action RPG Throne of Darkness released by Sierra in 2001.

    Formation

In 1997 after the successful release of the first Diablo and in the very early days of development on Diablo II artist Ben Haas and senior programmer Doron Gartner left Blizzard North to start their own game development studio. Early contract bids included a licensed Barbie game which would become Barbie Super Sports for Playstation and the PC action RPG Throne of Darkness. During the studios early days they were able to hire several members of recently defunct San Francisco studios like Psygnosis and Radical such as Victor Lee who would become the driving force behind the look of their one and only PC title Throne of Darkness.

    Closure

CLICK Entertainment is no longer an active developer. Although the circumstances surrounding their closure are unclear, the disappointing sales of Throne of Darkness are a likely factor. The only other game attributed to CLICK is the tentatively titled "Click's Online Fighting game" that was in development when the studio closed some time in 2002.
