A device used to communicate remotely with others.
Helicopters are flying vehicles, typically with a single large main rotor to maintain lift with a tail rotor to counter rotation induced by this main rotor. They are useful in air to ground combat as well as for quickly inserting and recovering infantry close to the front line.
A box that is used to store items. Most commonly associated with the survival horror entries of Resident Evil.
Used to open doors, or anything else that is locked. In any game where the player has an inventory, it's a safe bet that a key will appear at some point.
A keycard is a plastic card with a magnetic strip, chip, or other circuitry, programmed to allow passage through locked doors. May also require a passcode or password of some kind.
A laser is a focused beam of light, invisible through the air without some other medium (such as smoke) to illuminate it. Lasers are often used in video games as part of a targeting system, or as an offensive weapon in their own right.
A storage utility usually used for items. In video games however, they have a different use: hiding.
A spring loaded box which holds ammunition for a firearm. Often referred to as a "clip" although this is not technically correct.
A 9mm submachine gun made by Heckler & Koch, used by many special forces units around the world.
In many games, the player can find notes that contain story information, hints, codes to unlock doors, and so on. Especially common when there are no other characters around for the player to talk to.
A nuclear bomb is a device made up of fissionable materials (ie Uranium) and standard explosives. It creates a nuclear chain reaction, which release large amounts of radiation and a shockwave.

A pistol is a very basic hand-held side arm, usually used in case of low ammo or tricky situations. They have appeared in many types of games.
Tool used to hold objects firmly, or for splicing and bending strong materials such as wire or cables.
A hair style that draws the hair back so that it hangs down in back of the head like a pony's tail.
A portrait is a painting or photograph, showing an artistic representation of a person in which the face and its expression is the main characteristic.
Proximity mines are passive anti-personnel devices, often used as traps or ambushes, that detonate upon detecting the presence of a target.
Small portable audio device originally known as a "wireless", that receives signal from a radio tower. May emit static when monsters are nearby, or emit voices when a talk show host is on.
A refrigerator, or fridge for short, is a large rectangular appliance used to store food and drinks at a low temperature. Many have a "freezer" compartment that is kept colder than the freezing point of water at mean sea level.
An explosive ordinance propelled by a chemical reaction that causes a controlled explosion resulting in thrust. Rockets are usually "dumb" weapons, meaning that they are not guided. Rockets are the most powerful projectile in many games.
The ultimate weapon attachment that uses telescope optics to enlarge distant targets thus increasing your accuracy.
Appliance used to wash one's hands.
A sculpted representation of a person or object, generally in butter or stone.
A firearm capable of firing pistol ammunition automatically. Favored for shorter distances, or dealing death indoors.
Tinted glasses - used to shield the user direct sunlight. Sunglasses are also used as a fashion accessory or as part of a disguise.
Usually a Button, lever, or computerized scanner used to open, close, power on, turn on, or unlock something. Found common in most games that involve puzzle solving as well as shooters.
As a modern commodity, toilets have been portrayed very well in video games over the years.
A train is a series of connected vehicles that move along a single or double railed track.
A gun turret is weapon mount designed to protect the user or mechanisms of a weapon system. The weapon itself is not a turret, but rather the protective housing of the user or mechanisms of the weapon system.
