A quasi-sequel to From Software's action-RPG Demon's Souls, set in a new universe while retaining most of the basic gameplay and the high level of challenge. It features a less-linear world, a new checkpoint system in the form of bonfires, and the unique Humanity system.
No. I used it to discover where I could get the Sorcery trainer and I don't regret it. I had missed a merchant back at the Undead Burg and there's no way I would have ever known about him had I not seen the wiki.
I think a lot of the fun of Dark Souls comes from banding together as a community to crack this beast apart with our combined strength.
The Souls games, at least to me, have always been about reaching across the void to lend a helping hand to those in need, whether that be in game or on the internet.

Basically this, wiki's are an extension of the messaging system in the game. It's when you start looking at guides on youtube it kind of ruins the experience.
