Left 4 Dead 2? HELLOOO?

Marvel ultimate alliance 2 I will enjoy playing with a friend, borderlands, and modern warfare 2 is really all that I am excited for now that Fat Princess is out.  I may be forgetting something.

Brutal Legend FTW

I can see this being an issue for game journalists and reviewers. But for gamers, much better than last fall's Grand Game Cavalcade of Cash. I can actually keep up this year. 

Brutal Legend and MW 2 and will be enough for me for a while.

I can imagine a lot of people will be disappointed by the delay. This game looks fresh.

I'll probably eventually get Alpha Protocol and Brutal Legend as well, but I'm going to wait for the reviews for sure.

That's enough games to buy for me. More than enough actually. Like others have said, they are just worried about modern warfare 2 and the like.

Anything Sony first party. Ratchet, Uncharted, LBP PSP, etc.

Batman: Arkham Asylum, Brutal Legend I'm definately getting. Maybe Halo 3: ODST and Borderlands. Modern Warfare 2 I'm not excited for but rent it to see if it persuades me to buy it- Left 4 Dead 2 looks like shit. Fuck LFD2.

My last thread of sanity is being held in place by the promise of an '09 release for StarCraft 2.  If that game gets pushed back to '10, I'm going to lose my shit.

so what still left in fall 09? The only games I can think of are Scribblenauts, Brutal Legend, MW2, Assassins Creed 2, Halo ODST, L4D2 and Borderlands. It looks like when I play though those games I'm going to have to scrape the bottle of the barrel and get Imagine Babies: Aerosmith.

 This delay was really surprising considering how many times it's been pushed back already.  I really thought I was gonna be playing this in October or something.  It's a shame that when publishers finally take all our Q4 complaints to heart....they take it a little too far and instead of masses of games hitting in September - December we'll just have to suffer/enjoy February - May instead.

Borderlands, and Demon Souls, both on the same day. Evil.

Dragonage and Brutal Legend are a maybe if the above two don't consume my soul.

Alpha Protocol and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2

Uh, there are still a handful I guess. Borderlands, Left 4 Dead 2 (awaiting reviews on that one though), Modern Warfare 2, The Beatles: Rock Band, DJ Hero, and BRUTAL LEGEND. Oh, and maybe Dragon Age.

I can kinda understand it.  I mean, a ton of titles got buried during Holiday 2007 because Assassin's Creed, COD and HALO titles destroyed everything else.  Publishers might be afraid of a repeat performance this year.  Of course, that also helps it become a self-fulfilling prophecy, as in some people who might be sick of those franchises might buy them anyways because there's no dark horse candidate.  As someone who doesn't care for Modern Warfare or Halo, though, it is looking kind of slim.

However, I agree that it's starting to become ridiculous.  I mean, if you're worried Dark Void can't compete because of the "crowded holiday season", will it fare any better during a spring season with Splinter Cell, BioShock 2, God of War III, Mass Effect 2, etc.?

Borderlands and Modern Warfare 2 top my list.  Followed by ODST for sure, and maybe Assassin's Creed 2.

Halo ODST, MW2, and Assassins Creed 2.Brutal Legend, Borderlands,MM2, Uncharted 2, there are silly a crazy amount of games this fall.

calling it a " wastland" is a bit silly.  not everyone gets games for free, or can afford to get every game they want in the fall.

l4d2, borderlands, and mw2 are what i'm getting this fall for sure.

if this game went up against MM2 and Halo and UNcharted it would end up the same way as Timeshift, and Blacksite Area 51.  Its funny that ppl complain about too many games in the fall, and now complain about delay.  PLease for the love of god.

I hadn't given much thought to Dark Void, so the delay till next year doesn't bother me any.

But this year I am looking forward to:

1. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2
2. Uncharted 2
3. Silent Hill Shattered Memories (I don't believe it's been moved)
   
4. Assassin's Creed 2
5. Dragon Age Origins

I'd better not see Brutal Legend delayed until Rockebruary or I'm going to be seriously pissed.

It really seems like developers are afraid of Modern Warfare 2 and Rock Band Beatles, and while both may be must buys there's always room for more. If your title is AAA then don't be afraid! Market the hell out of it and get your holiday cash I say! And let me play the damn thing when I was originally supposed to...

Personally I'm still pretty happy with the stuff that's supposedly scheduled this year. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Blur, Brutal Legend, Borderlands and Batman. The four B's, basically. Five if you'll allow Bayonetta in to count even though that'll be January (she's a special case).

Well NOW it's just Daisy Fuentes Pilates.  That'll keep me going for months.  Longer if I buy a balance board.

Assassin's Creed 2, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, the different sports games, GT:PSP, Motorstorm(PSP), Assassin's Creed(PSP), and R&C: A Crack in Time.

Leaves me more time play Borderlands and Brutal Legend.

It's pretty sad that one of the biggest releases of 09 is GTA DLC(twice).

That'll give them a few more months to get worked finished on the monument before they get the game out.

Well, heres a list of some, with bold favourites:  Batman, Borderlands, Brutal Legend, Beatles Rock Band,  Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Scribblenauts, Bowsers inside story, Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma, Uncharted 2, Ratchet: Crack in time, forza 3, tekken 6, assassins creed 2, LFD 2, Modern warfare 2 and odst......my point? Hella games coming out still! If more games benefit from it, delay them some more. Its not like i can afford half of these games anyway this year.
