A bit pedestrian, sure. But hey, at least we still have the footage from PAX East.
 
You know, the part where he started flying?

I loved dead space to the point of actually posting a review for it, however this trailer is more run-of-the-mill than boring to me.  It has moments, but I've seen more impressive E3 trailers lately, and in a nutshell I can understand where you are coming from with this.  Hoping the game does well.

This is perfect because it shows what we'll be actually doing for most of the game.

So this looks a lot like Dead Space. I'm pretty cool with that.  
 
Watch out for that crazy monster boob spider.

I love the object motion blur from enemy movements and slashes. It certainly lends a more cinematic feel.

more of a gameplay demonstration then a trailer

They show off the new zero-G navigation and the rivet gun, which is nice, but the guy who's playing sucks, and the snippets weren't exactly varied.

Looks very much like more of the original Dead Space...and I'm totally fine with that 8)

Hmm he seems to be able to move a little faster than in the original, or am i just remembering wrong?

Second gameplay footage from the Sony Press Con was a lot better.
