If you do sidequests, DP can reach about 40+ hours from what I've heard. So, if it's an endurance run, it would run about half the length of the Persona 4 one.
If they really like shitty good games like this, they should do an endurance run of Raw Danger, it's so old and rare now that it wouldn't spoil it for anyone. That's one risk they run if they do an endurance run for DP.

I disapprove. Persona 4 was actually a good game that was bearable to watch for long periods of time. Deadly Premonition (from what I've heard) is MAD repetitive. I do not want the next Endurance Run to be of a game of such little quality. Some would argue this would lead to more humor. I argue that this leads to it being unwatchable.
Even if I disapprove, let's be honest, I'm still going to watch it.
Despite being a pretty 'bad' game, Deadly Premonition is oozing with charm and heart. It also really feels self-concious about its absurdity and you know what.......The gameplay isn't that bad. It reminded me alot of a downgraded RE4, while that may not sound like the greatest thing ever: The game makes up for it with the completely nonsensical narrative it has
I really enjoyed my time with it,importing it from the US was well worth it.
1. The ER should be with Jeff and Vinny. I feel like it's their feature, like you wouldn't have Brad doing TANG.
2. It should be on a separate page than the P4 ER. It can still be under the endurance run tab, just have another selection between ERs after that. Either that, or just make it a feature, since it probably won't have a whole lot of episodes.

What is with all the people against an Endurance Run?! Don't watch it if you think it would be so terrible! Anything from Giantbomb is worth watching if there is something on the screen accompanied by Jeff, Ryan, Vinny, Brad, Drew, and/or Dave talking! Even better if the images on the screen are interesting. I will finally get another chance to watch an ER concurrently with each segments release!

Obviously we have to also look at it from a developers stand point. One reason Atlus let the P4 endurance run continue without sending a CnD is probably because they thought the Endurance Run would help them sell. and not too many people knew about the persona series, or were interested (hell, i didn't even pay attention to the Persona series till P4 came out).
The devs can look at the "Endurance Run" of Deadly Premonition and not like how people are basically getting the contents of the game for free.
Its probably why it took 2 months from release till the P4 endurance run started.
Is it really an endurance run when you can beat it in less than 20 hours? And if they barely got out of the Persona ER with their sanity how are they going to cope with this game? My guess is that it's just a tease and that it will be a ten minute long QL. Now to wait for the Bombcast for more info.
@BunkerBuster: Jeff said that Deadly Premonition will require something more than a Quick Look. And seeing how the shortest QLs are around 15 minutes we can expect, at the very least, a muli-part Quick Look. We'll just have to see.
I hope they play this game so I don't have to; a self-aware survival horror with awful production values and craft sounds perfect for a let's play, at least the story aspects and not so much the gameplay. Ripper and Phantasmagoria 2 are also terrible games, but that didn't make them any less awesome as games to see someone play.
IMO this is not the game to take over, to be honest, I would rather see a New Game+ of Persona 4, or a Persona 3 playthrough since it's a bit diffrent from Persona 4.

Duder, I love Persona 4 but you have to admit it does get mad repeditive after a while. Both in story structure and gameplay. @Bones8677 said:

I dont think they wouldve gone out of their way to mention it in the "I love Monday's" if it was just a multi-parter. And would that really be a big enough deal to keep the announcement shrouded in secrecy? Couldnt they just have said "and for deadly premonition we'll do a multi part quick look, which is why we havent put anything on the site yet related to that game.", unless the arent planning to do a multi parter. Maybe instead they are preparing the return of the GREATEST FEATURE ON GIANTBOMB!

Guys, I loved the previous endurance run, but does that mean this one has to be as much as the last one as possible? You could already tell towards the end of the last endurance run they got kind of tired of it before it ended. If they would be fanbashed into doing another Persona endurance run they'd probably get sick of it before they'd be halfwaythrough. THE MAGIC WOULD BE GONE!

@Erik: If you want to see a Persona 4 New Game+ playthrough or a Persona 3 playthrough, play it yourself. I don't want to see them play through the same or similar game all over again, and I say that as someone who loved both games and is planning another playthrough of Persona 3 for 100% completion before starting Persona 3 FES. Great games, but we don't need to see them play the same thing again.

The devs, Ignition Entertainment, twitted that they were excited and hoping for an Endurance Run after Giant Bomb hinted it might happen. So I think it solely depends on the fact if Jeff and Vinny want to do it, because the demand from the users is high.
