Given that of the big 3, Nintendo seems to be doing the most interesting stuff right now, I would think that would take priority over the unveiling of yet another Final Fantasy thing.

But what if they show that new Sleeping Dogs game? That takes precedent over any Nintendo product in my mind...

The big Square Enix stuff will be at either Microsoft or Sony, so I think they should cover Nintendo and maybe do a debrief after if anything new at SE pops up.

Whatever they do, I'd suggest turning off the chat for the Nintendo show as (if the old Konami shows are any example) you know that at precisely 9:01am there will be people posting who have just skipped forward maybe even right to the end.

If Square Enix were going to show off anything interesting they'd do it at Microsoft or Sony's conferences. That's how all of these third party conferences go, they just show off more of the games they already showed at the big publisher's presentations. They've gotta go with Nintendo because there'll be actual new material out of that one.

The Nintendo conferences aren't VODs they put out, they live stream the pre-recorded presentation so that that exact situation doesn't happen.

Since this is the first Square Enix keynote/press conference at E3 ever (or what feels like forever) I would imagine the guys be more interested with Square Enix. They might just keep Nintendo running in a corner to see if anything interesting is happening or not. However, since Nintendo is delivering their keynote as digital and it'll probably be buggy trying to watch it live so they may just wanna wait for the archive to appear on youtube, or something...

Who cares, I just wanna watch the crew watch Sony press conference and make fun of John Drake and Bodega, even though neither would be appearing on the stage.

Play em both and whichever looks more interesting at any given moment, switch to that one's audio.

They should stream them in a game show format: each member of the crew gets control of the streams and can switch when he's bored or wants to see the other stream.

I think the simplest way would be everyone watches the nintedo digital event while Dan does the Square. It's a win-win situation.

Just Cause 3 is more interesting than anything Nintendo can offer me I'm afraid.

Square Enix, because to be honest I get my Nintendo stuff from the treehouse direct anyway. Think that's true for a lot of people.

This probably means I'm going to have to watch each them later in a vacuum avoiding the live and even Giantbomb commentary just so they don't drop things in like "I here SE/Nintendo just announced X" while watching whichever they choose to. I like seeing the way these things are built up and announced (the lulls included) so having two at the same time seems like a quick way of breaking that.

Maybe I watch the one Giantbomb aren't doing and then the recording of the Giantbomb commentary.

When I saw the topic title I thought the answer was obviously Nintendo, but I keep forgetting that Square Enix has all that Eidos stuff now. I care more about Xenoblade than any traditional Square Enix games, but Deus Ex and Just Cause together might even beat Xenoblade for me.

If I remember from last year - they stream the digital recording (so you can't skip back) and then it just repeats until a complete VOD is uploaded.

I can't imagine Square has much to show other than Deus Ex 4. Everything else is so far away it'll be hard to get too excited.

1. The staff likely isn't going to be commentating over either of these things because they go live right before the actual show floor opens.

B. We have the ability to stream two things at once in chat.
