Characters controlled by the game for players to interact with, as opposed to player characters which are controlled by whomever is playing the game.

Reloading is the action of replacing the ammunition magazine inside a gun. It adds a touch of realism to most modern shooters, and a certain amount of tension when a player is forced to reload while under fire.
Reptilian humanoids are a common motif in mythology, folklore and fantasy. As a race, they are sometimes cited to be extremely old, even older than men and elves. Examples: Lizalfos (Zelda), Lizardmen (Warhammer) & Argonians (The Elder Scrolls) They generally walk upright like any other humanoid and sport some kind of tail.

The player character is seen at a distance from a number of different possible perspective angles. There is generally a movable camera but it can also be in a fixed position. It most commonly refers to a viewpoint behind the player character.
When a certain amount of time is given to the player to reach a goal or finish an objective.
A mechanical system designed to capture or cause harm. Either the player can set traps for their enemies or others set them for the player.
An unbeatable enemy is just that, an enemy you can't beat or destroy. It's best to just run away from them.
These are games that begin with the player waking up. More often than not this occurs in RPGS, but is certainly not exclusive to the genre.
