Mass Effect for $20 dollars has always been a steal, so much content for such a little price.

I got this stuff here for free (it's a slightly older snapshot, after a recent format)... Well, most of it, I did buy some that weren't unlocked, and then some others outside Steam just to support the indies who made them. You should be seeing 9 columns, if your window's wide enough.

I got the Orange Box, which is already an amazing deal, for $25 when it was still full-priced.  Black Friday sale at Best Buy.

EDIT: I also got Tribes: Vengeance for $5 at half price books.  I had no clue what it was when I saw it, but boy am I glad that I picked it up anyways.

How can it be rare with so many millions copies sold (10, by the end of 2005)? People are just taking advantage of its popularity, there's no way that game should be sold for $200 like extremely limited and rare releases of the Panzer Dragoon Saga caliber. Amazon lists it from $36 (used).

The best deal I ever got was both LOTRO: Shadows of Angmar and Mines of Moria expansion for 70p or about $1.30 or so.  What a deal! Still sealed too! Who needs to play a game when it costs less than a pound.

Call of Duty World at War collectors edition (flask and all) for $1 at a yard sale where i work. (someone tried to steal it).

I got Persona 4 free on this web site called giantbomb.

Persona 4 with that awesome artbook for $40. I mean, it's not much of a deal but seeing that I spent over 80 hours playing that game (and probably will spend more) that's a pretty freaking great deal.

I know I previously commented with a joke about Big Rigs and RapeLay, but I seriously did get the best deal ever yesterday:  Red Faction Guerrilla for $30 at Blockbuster.  Given that it's only been out for about 3 weeks or so...totally awesome.

Even though I paid full price for Orange Box, I thought it was a great deal. The last game I think I got for dead cheap was Bioshock off steam for 4.99. 

Oh and I cannot forget finding NHL 2K6 in the recycling bin. Horrible game, but after getting 3 of the 5 achievements, it landed me 700G. 

Earlier today I was just quickly looking at the games at Sam's Club (Not planning on getting anything). And then I saw a little plastic slab of Saints Row 2, the sticker on it said $8.81. I thought it wouldn't actually ring up to that but it actually rang up to $6.81. So I got a new, sealed copy of Saints Row 2 for $6.81 (Its trade-in price on Amazon used is $15.25, so I think someone made a mistake, and has already or will soon be fired)

My best gaming deal was an 360 with a Memory Card and the necessary cables for $3.99. (I already had a controller, because I used it for my PCs gamepad.) It would have been $2.99, but I opted for the screwdriver that had the nice cushion on it. Yay for fixing things! Too bad it recently gave me the red ring of death.

Just last week, I bought Metal Gear Solid 4 for a total of $11.82 when shipping was calculated.

Also, around when Steam first launched, I got Half-Life, all its expansion packs, Counter-Strike, Day of Defeat, Team Fortress Classic, Deathmatch Classic, and Richochet for free when I put in the Serial Key for my Half-Life: Initial Encounter disk I found at Goodwill for a dollar.

I once found a copy of Pilot Wings 64 on the sidewalk.

I went to Best Buy today.  It was buy 2 DS games get one free.  Not a bad surprise since i didnt know about it ahead of time.

This past Black Friday I went to target to try and get Dead Space for 30 bucks.  I went and they were out, but they had FarCry 2 out for 20 bucks because they were out of something else.  So I bought Far Cry 2 and got a rain check on Dead Space.

I felt like I had stolen something.  And it felt good.

Got Guitar Hero 3 bundle for like $25 at launch thanks to EB's 4 game trade-in deal. I went to another store, bought $25 worth of bargain bin games, went to EB and traded them for a free GH3.

They were actually pretty pissed at me. I just went "Now you know how you make people feel when you give them $3 for a game your charging $30 for." He wasn't pleased.

Half-Life Generation which was the old Orange Box you could say it had all of the Half-Life 1 stuff. I got that for about £15 and it was easily the best purchase ever.

I just bought both Mirrors Edge and Unreal Tournament 3 on ps3 for $15, thats pretty good to me

Left 4 Dead on 360 for $5. My friend gave it to me because the disk was "ringy" from his Xbox eating it, so I took it to a disc repair spot and had it rebuffed for $5, worked perfectly.
