I'd like to also throw in my vote for Life is Strange because I want Alex to old man all over it. It'd probably turn out to be pretty similar content to the Until Dawn playdates.
Giant Bomb East is Listening!

In line with the idea of some DBZ games and with Alex's presents from Japan, how about some Gundam games?
Yes Life is strange would be intriguing to watch you guys play. I'd be curious to get Austin's take on it.
Life Is Strange
Would be AMAZING, please let this happen!
I'm the jerk that keeps requesting Xenosaga, but I'd like you to play the old King's Field games to see how close From Software was to the Souls games back on PS1.
Yume Nikki- Better than Undertale
LSD- yup crazy game
Pandora's Tower- Castlevania-like that came out late in the Wii's life
I'm gonna put a vote in for Phantasmagoria 2, Life is Strange and some Unplugged, would love to see the return of V-Bomb.
Football Manager 2015.
Good luck.
This would be epic.
I like that Vinny signs off as if he's writing an email.
Everyone loved the Until Dawn playthrough. How about going through some of the Quantic Dream games? I haven't played any of them, so either would be awesome.
I'm seconding the 80 Days recommendation. Austin and Alex put it in their personal top10 lists for last year so they should know how awesome it is. I think Vinny's gonna love the choose-your-own-story and on-the-fly decision making mechanics along with the "time limit" aspect. It'd also be something rather different from a lot of things we've already seen on the site, what with it being originally a text-heavy mobile game. The recent PC release with new content should make it easy to record gameplay while also giving Austin and Alex something to look forward to.
And yes, there are plenty of funny/ridiculous moments sprinkled throughout the game for the GBeast crew to riff on.
Quick Look/Unfinished
- Master Spy
- Way of the Samurai 4
- The Old Republic check-in + new expansion (Austin plays it right?)
- Minecraft Story Mode
- Clandestine
- Samurai Warriors 4-II
- Armikrog
- else Heart.Break()
- Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide
- Sword Coast Legends
- Jotun
- Bladestorm: Nightmare
- There Was A Caveman
- Kenshi
Heroes of Might and Magic! Any of them! Turn Based strategy awesomeness. Ubisoft just dropped a new one Heroes VII (no idea if its any good), there is an HD re-release of Heroes III (considered the best by fans), and Heroes VI has a lot of weird online stuff to talk about.
Or you can always go back to my fave Heroes II and that sweet pixel art and CD audio soundtrack! A slower paced game for a civilized age =)
Giant Bomb never did do a quicklook of Drakengard 3, the last game by that Majora's Mask moon-mask wearing guy at E3 (actually the character is one from Nier called Emil).
I haven't played it myself (nor have I played Nier), only ever heard things. Supposedly it's hella anime and also fucked up, and the gameplay isn't that good.
Sounds like a great time!

It really would! I am smiling just thinking about it, even if it seems unlikely to happen.
A quicklook of Armikrog would be cool. For a game that comes from a lineage of the creators of Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood (which it actually shares an art style with) I really haven't heard anyone talking about it. The steam reviews are mixed but I am in absolute love with claymation style that I'm not really sure what to think about it.
Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap preferably over the Dragons Curse variation.
It has a beginning which echoes the end of the previous game, years before SOTN, it's a cool platformer which is technically a sequel to Adventure Island, due to the licensing bollocks.
It's not a hard-hard game but it's fun and has some cool mechanics.
Oh, and Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers 20th Anniversary Edition would be cool to see.
Tales of Zestiria is almost out on PC, really curious how this runs.
I... is Life is Strange a thing? I feel like I've seen the name of that game more times in this one thread than I have in the past year combined.
I have no opinion on that, though! I just want to finally see that long-running series where the entire GBEast office puts their heads together for an hour a day/week, and like the greatest minds of our forefathers, figures out a way to get to the Moon. Er, Mun. A moon named Mun. Orbity rock-type thing.
I want to see the whole office gradually become obsessed with this mission - coming in with pages of amateur physics equations and hastily-scrawled rocket designs that came to them in a dream.
This site's been playing KSP for so long, it has to happen sometime!
MANIFEST SPACE DESTINY!
...
Or just play whatever, it'll be cool

Oh right, besides PHANTASMAGORIA 2, I could imagine some fun being generated from Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit. Especially the first one has given the Bombcast a good handful of great moments. Though I guess Vinny at least has played through it and I imagine the game'd be best unspoiled...but then again, he did finish Until Dawn on his own before Alex.
