How many fingers do you type with?

All of them. Some more often than others.

I started using Mavis Beacon at a very early age. So,  I use all ten fingers and am fairly quick at moving around the keyboard.

I type properly.

Since you asked though, I started analyzing my typing technique and now I'm having some difficulty typing. I think I need to go to make some food or something so I forget that you asked this and I can start typing normally again. :E~~

I use all fingers to their full potential. I type 450-500 characters (bout 80 words) in a minute.

Nine using my left thumb for the space bar.

I was taught to use all, but I ended up reverting to my two indexes and left thumb. All things considered, I'm still a rather fast typer and have received compliments from people on my quick fingers. They are also doubly impressed (if not terrifired) for I type almost as fast as I talk in person, or so people say.

Take a class!  I took a class back & it still took 2.5 years to get the speed up. I don't think I could handle just chicken pecking with a couple of fingers.  Learning to type on a keyboard sort of reminds me of learning how to play a musical instrument. "

buut i just noticed that most people type like me index and middle finger on both hands and me thumbs for the space.

2 fingers...and 8 toes. 

As many as people generally use for touch typing I guess. Except I don't tend to use my left thumb at all is what I noticed while typing this out. So... nine.

I've tried to go back to pecking after teaching myself to type with all 10 fingers, and it feels so weird now.

I use I guess all 10. I'll use my four on each hand to type. And I'll switch between thumbs for the space bar.

i type with 2 fingers but i am really fast ..lol

I actually learned to type efficiently when I took a computer course in middle school, and the teacher put black paint over the keys on the keyboard, so we HAD to remember which keys to type, and with which finger. It worked. Much better than in elementary school.

I have all of them on the keyboard in proper typing fasion, but I guess technically I'm only hitting the space bar with my right thumb while the left one kind of hovers above it.

9 - I don't use my left thumb. Everything else is always on use.

All of them, I took a typing class in high school and Ive been typing that way ever since. The one I use the least tho is my left thumb, most of the time I just use my right thumb to push the space bar, but sometimes I do use my left.

I had typing class in school back in the days and am typing with 10 fingers since then.

I use all of my fingers. Pinky fingers are used for shift buttons.

I use them all, and I type at a minimum of 85wpm.  = D
