Awesome work!
Hoping for Kessler...
@Fobwashed: These are amazing! I can't believe the level of likeness you achieve with just a few pixels - fantastic stuff!
Sherlock Holmes Story Guy is Justin McElroy from Polygon - that story alone warrants him a spot in this masterpiece.
Keep it up!

These are totally stellar. Nice job, duder! As long as you're digging into more obscure connections to Giant Bomb, I would recommend old interns or Ana Hurka-Robles, the old video producer at Tested. She made it on camera now and then. Man, that Brad one...that is just beautiful. That makes me happy. Well done.
Hmm. . . I'll consider it. Though it'd help that consideration greatly if you could hunt down any references to her and link em to me here as I'm a bit swamped with everything else so I don't think I can go hunting her down myself =)
Alright, my pleasure! I'm honored that you considered my request. First thing that came to mind was the happy hour segment that begins at the 14 minute mark in this video: http://www.giantbomb.com/whiskey-media-happy-hour-110510/17-3475/
Then you could also refer to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbmesFOTGBg from the old Metagame videos on Giant Bomb's channel. If you're thinking about what sort of attire to use, I would recommend either standard video equipment or, to be more ambitious, might I recommend an old Halloween costume of hers from the video below. Thank you again for considering my request! Ana is great.
Thanks again duders =) A bit slower on the updates but I've been busy busy busy!
Considering the limited amount of people commenting, Kessler seems to be in demand. Any suggestions on clothing or situations? If I do end up throwing him in, he should be pretty distinguishable by his size alone but it'd be nice (and funner) to do something interesting.
Couple quick additions here with tweaks and edits as usual. I'm more and more thinking I'll have to run a size pass on everyone to sorta normalize how big ppl are with each other. There's some scaling issues here and there that stand out.
Anyway, I'll post another update as soon as I'm able. Wheeeeee~~
@Fobwashed: Oh wow, you totally did an Ed Boon in Scorpion regalia like I said! It's absolutely fantastic. Ana's Brodyquest costume looks fantastic as well.
Hopefully I can get those as individuals eventually like you've posted the others - I'm totally running all those as my wallpaper on shuffle, and I am laughing my ass off every time Will Smith appears.

Done and done. I think Boon might be a little small. . . and the previous individuals I uploaded are sorta older versions. I'll go through em and do an updated pack of em sooner or later. Glad u enjoy em =)
@dudeglove: wth? haha
@Fobwashed: Wow Ed Boon looks great!
I'm all for adding Kessler and basing his appearence on Betting The Farmville is a fun idea, but I was also a big fan of the Fear Gauntlet, mainly when they played throught the entirety of Condemned, so Kessler chomping on a dead bird or carrying a steel pipe would also be gold.
Edit: Actually, either way he should be paired up with Steve in some way.

Kessler and Steve, carrying rusty pipes and cans of Diet Squish.
Ben Pack should also be in, dressed up as Andre the Giant and three times bigger than everyone else.
@Fobwashed: Here's your inspiration for potential Kessler attire.

I'll prolly end up going with that if I ever get around to throwing Kessler in.

Fantastic work, i just got in to pixel art myself. Any advice for a newcomer?
Thanks. You'd prolly have to be a little more specific -_-;; I found the community at www.pixeljoint.com to be pretty friendly and they'll help you out if you post up pics of any works in progress. For the most part, I think to do pixelart, it helps if you know how to draw non pixel art. For things like lighting and composition etc. Aside from that, just put pen to paper and work by tweaking what you've got down. Start with a really rough general shape and then go for details. If you start with just a small area and try to get it right before moving on, it'll be much harder than if you get a general everything and start filling in. At least, for me it is -_-;; And never be afraid to just scrap and redo areas or even the entire sprite =)
Sorry for the lack of updates. I'm still planning on adding and eventually finishing this thing but I've been swamped with life stuff, work, some hitches in programming and various other art projects. Hopefully I'll be able to show off some of the other stuff I've been working on soon =) I'll prolly get back on my horse here on this thing sometime next week -_-;; Thanks again for all the kind words~!!
@2HeadedNinja: @pickassoreborn: Thanks =) It's not dead, it's just sorta sidelined while I take care of a bunch of other things I gotta do -_-;;

no more zip file :(
Oh that sucks. I didn't know the files get taken down. The last one I put up is pretty old anyway. I'm gonna do some more tweaking and edits prolly this weekend at which point I'll generate a new zip with the updated stuff in it =) Sorry it's taking so long.
In the meanwhile, here's a small update.

@mak_wikus: Dave 'The Lang-Zone' Lang if I'm not mistaken. The Lang Field he deployed appears to have taken John Carmack out of this world and into a higher plane of existence.
lol, I didn't realize he was gone till you mentioned it just now =P I'll have to reorganize and make him visible again.
@mak_wikus: Dave Lang made Wreckateer, which most people have pretty happily called a long-form Angry Birds for Kinect.

I love it and will download the file, but can we get Dave Lang and Adam Sessler since non-Bombers such as Jaffe and Schafer are in there?
Sessler is a definite maybe =) I used to watch him since back in the day on Tech TV and umm. . . what was it called? ZDTV?
anyway, I realized that I wasn't just missing Carmack in my last upload, I was missing a bunch of people. Here's where it's at currently. I ended up drawing the latest addition to the wrong file. All is well now.
