I would love to join up with other Duders and Dudettes when Overwatch goes live for more people.
I currently don't have access to it (only played the stress test from about two weeks ago), but I should be getting into one of their betas soon, since I pre-ordered the game. And I'll definitely be playing it when the full game goes live.
I'd love to play with a bunch of you guys. I guess I pre-ordered like 16 hours late to get the the early access, so if anyone has a spare code I'd be very grateful. Otherwise I'll be there on the 5th!
Count me in! I was fortunate enough to get into the closed beta and put about 100-120 hours into it. The game is phenomenally fun, but the only thing I was missing was a dedicated group of people to play with. Looking forward to playing with the GB community!

Loving the beta so far, would love to play with u duders. I typically play mercy but will happily change class for a more balanced team when i need to.
Going to be weird with Battle.net's terrible region system and the fact that Overwatch teams only have 6 players.
It's been fine getting people together regularly on the GB Discord server. How about you leave it to the people who are actually interested to work it out instead of trying to point out how difficult it will be in the very thread they're trying to organize in. Thanks.
I'm definitely a little disappointed to hear that there's this weird regional problem with servers. I'm sure there's technical reasons why you can only match-make with certain regions (latency and so on), but the idea that I won't be able to play with my American friends makes me hesitant on paying into this game. It doesn't seem as bad as, say, Hearthstone, where you can't keep your card collection between regions, but if playing on the U.S. server will make my game unplayable, it's unfortunate. This game looks like a ton of fun.
@robowitch: Switching regions is possible so you should be fine, as long as you're on PC. I'm not sure how the console versions do things. Here's the official article on it.
I joined the discord and I have played with friends, that's not what I meant. I'm also not trying to discourage others from trying.
It's just that I am not a long-time battle.net user and my current reaction to it has been quite negative.
If anyone knows the answer to the following questions I would very much appreciate the help:
How do I add players I've played with in a game to my friends list?
How do I find players I've played with on battle.net?
How do I add players to my friends list I am currently playing with?
Why do I have to literally change my battle.net region to be able to play with friends from certain regions?
(If none of these things are possible, who on earth designed this system and thought it was a good idea?)
Bnet is just terrible tbh.
1. I believe there is somewhere in the game where you can view recent players and add them from there (I think you might have to copy their id and paste it into the client's add friend function). Obviously don't have access to the game right now so can't point out where, but I definitely remember seeing some sort of recent players list.
2. Get their full bnet id
3. See 2. This is pretty much the only way I believe.
4. There's not really a good reason for this, you just have to. I'm used to it at this point but it is pretty dumb.
Basically, you need to get them IDs.
As for this thread, the one time I didn't have anybody to play with and couldn't bear playing alone I hopped on the GB discord and got a couple folks to play with super easily, and within an hour we had a full team and forgot how to lose. It was very fun.
i also look forward to watching GB (try to?) play Overwatch while I play Overwatch. Not sure why there would be server issues as the open beta probably taxed the hell out of the system, but what do i know?
I'm playing on PS4, PSN is "Isnagov" Add me so we can play. Mostly PST daytime, but some others might work if I can jump in and out. Play mostly support and sniper roles.
