Okey you see Kratos dieing then then there is a fade out to the credits, after the credits you see his bloody trail leading away from the top of Olympus ( of a cliff maybe?)

someone dragged him off and is either gonna try to use him to kill a bunch of people for them or he is gonna kill a bunch of people to escape. either way in 4-5 years some mother fuckers r gonna die

Maybe he threw himself off the cliff. He is want to do that.
 
Honestly it's just a way to leave the door open for future installments. That and the fact that the whole "Athena" thing wasn't completely resolved means that things can continue in some form.

The world has been completely cleansed of the Olympians and all the evidence of them - the floods, the sun falling, the plague. I'm sure the death of Gaia will have done something crazy too.
 
I think Sony going to pursue other kinds of Mythology - Roman, Norse, maybe even Egyptian. The fact that the world is essentially a 'clean slate' again now leaves the door open for pretty much anything.
 
EDIT: Just realised that Aphrodite was the only (known) God left at the end of the game. Will there be an entire game of sex mini games next?
