... because the God of War III demo will be on the disk, which is slated to come out December 29. Joystiq also states that once you beat the demo, a featurette of the game will be unlocked.
So, will you buy it?
Also... you totally thought I posted this in the wrong forum, didn't you. =P
God of War III
Game » consists of 14 releases. Released Mar 16, 2010
God of War III puts players back in the role of Kratos to continue his brutal and bloody war against Olympus as he sets his sights on Zeus himself.
Who's gonna buy District 9 on Blu-ray?
I'm not gonna lie, I thought you posted in the wrong forum, and that seems an odd way to distribute a demo, but I do have plans on getting District9 anyways, as I really liked it, I suppose the demo would just be a plus.
You would have to be an idiot to buy this SOLELY for the GOWIII demo. Hopefully, people will buy this because this are interested in District 9 and not the later.
Don't get me wrong.....I am buying GOWIII the day it is released but I do not believe in paying for demos. All demos should be free.
I'm getting cause of the movie, i didn't watch it when it ran in the theaters. Also i preordered the God of War Collection, and there is a demo of God of War 3 on there too i think.

Well, now I'm considering buying it...
25 bones gets you District 9 and a demo. Don't BRs cost even more than yet?" no. No demo is worth 25 bucks. I am gonna get Bruno and Terminator 4 on blu ray. Along with Inglourious Basterds. "
Are you going to say next that $40 isn't worth it for GOW3 demo, even though two other games are featured in it? (i.e. God of War Collection)
Edit - Not the point. If I had PS3, I'd definitely buy this. I want to see District 9. :(
Sure.
Definately a round about way of marketing a game/releasing a demo.
Still, if you had said to me liek 10 years ago that we were gonna be living in a future world where HD movies that are higher fidelity than most peoples TV's can even display, where the storage medium is so high capacity that (demo's of) one of the most technically intensive video games ever made can just be thrown in on a disk that (thanks to the peter jackson factor) is bound to have hours of extra features anyway.....
...Actually that sounds about right.
Still - awesome.
I'll be getting the GoW Collection as i've never played GoW2 yet (it's on my shelf) so i'll get the demo from that. D9 was a good movie but i won't buy the blu-ray til i can get it for really cheap or during an amazon buy2get1free sale or whatever.
