God of War III: Kratos needs a spanking
The God of War series, as was mentioned in the main review of this page, is about epic battles within grand scale environments. And God of War III DOES NOT disappoint. In all honesty, God of War III felt like it was made by the David Jaffe team of the first game - which is saying alot. But the game doesn't go without flaws or annoyances. The most annoying flaw I found within the game is the inability to open treasure chests. Sometimes, but not all the time, Kratos will attempt to open the chest, putting all of his strength onto the lid, only to see him suddenly stop as if refusing to do what he's told - kind of fitting for Kratos, but non-the-less that isn't supposed to happen. Also, some of the battles can get a little crazy with the amount of enemies that is put on the screen at one time resulting in many, many deaths. Often having to restart from the beginning of key points of the level.
For what the game has to offer, and the story it brings to tell, God of War III is a beautiful masterpiece to behold! Sure it has some problems, but what game doesn't these days? And if your a fan of Kratos my suggestion is to pick this game up.
