That name sure is horrendous. Is it just me? Just call it DC Super Heroes Rumble or something appropriately goofy. Jesus. What a terrible name.

The DC Universe's most powerful heroes and villains collide in this fighting game from the creators of the Mortal Kombat series.
What a god awful name
I think it is fine but it is weird since Injustice League is just the group of villains they fight in the comics with the likes of Lex Luthor, Catwoman, Sinestro, and so on.
Edit: I didnt notice it had a subtitle. It isnt good, but very video gaming
I'd be okay with just Unjustice, I suppose, but the subtitle just takes it to a whole new level of bad.
It's almost as bad as "Jobs: get inspired", the movie about Steve Jobs played by aston kutcher of course,
i dont mind it. its not "good" but it has a similar appeal to my ridiculousity-radar as the title mortal kombat
Ill hold off judgment on the name until I know what the story is actually about. The whole Gods Among Us thing isn't too off putting to me though, because that is a pretty common theme in The Justice League.
I think they should jettison the main title and simply call it "Gods Among Us". That is a cool name.

I think the name sounds cool...
Same here. Besides, judging from the trailer, the whole point seems to be that the 'heroes' aren't being so heroic for whatever reason so I think the name fits.
I want to agree with you, but then I realized that's only because I'm so used to video game titles being branded all to hell, and never having titles that are in any way cryptic or abstract.
I agree that the title is verbose without accomplishing anything by doing so, but I do want to sort of applaud them for somehow getting away with making a licensed game where they weren't forced to include the license directly in the title. Usually you'd expect this sort of game to have "DC" or "Justice League" right in the title, just in case simpletons can't figure out it's a DC fighting game from the prominent pictures of Batman and Superman on the cover.
@DeathbyYeti: I really can't stand the trend of unnecessary video game sub titling. If it were the second entry in the series, I could understand, but this is rarely ever the case. "Injustice" would have been just fine.
Technically, we don't know the plot. The subtitle might make more sense in context.I think 'Injustice' would have just been a better name, the subtitle just seems out of place.
Would have been more fitting if they had some sort of Marvel vs DC crossover, then you could sort of see where the "Gods Among Us" bit comes into play.

The 'Gods Among Us' thing would make sense if, like, you were playing some random guy who had to deal with a world full of superheroes and villains or something, but since you're just playing as those 'gods' - the whole game is just two 'gods' beating each other up - it doesn't quite work. Yeah, the plot might explain it more, but it still seems a bit odd.
Name sounds classy and confident. It doesn't have to call itself a DC title or Justice League Brawl or anything like that to be good. If anything, it's like what the Batman movies have done lately- you don't need the title to be super blatant. "Injustice: Gods Among Us" is way more memorable than "Justice League: Injustice" or whatever.

The name you gave is worse.... Sorry
Yeah, thanks for pointing that out. You can't possibly think that I thought DC Super Heroes Rumble was a good name. The whole point was that even a goofy video game name like that would've been an improvement... ahh forget it.
Nobody has pointed this out yet so I will. The reason why the game has gods among us is because is it referring to the main justice league characters. The justice league are basically greek gods and they are among humans which is us. The title has injustice because there has been injustuce?idk

Heh, yeah, I think we got that. Problem is branding, though. Batman is about to make more money than god, and, yes, that movie is called "The Dark Knight Rises," but the first film was Batman Begins and The Dark Knight is a known pseudonym for Batman. Imagine if it was called "Knight fights masked Terrorist" or "Anthropomorphic Animal Team Up Yeah!" or "More Money for Christopher."
This name is equivalent. It's kinda cute how its playing on those themes, but if you've got the DC roster, and you plan to sell to people who play video games or like comic books rather than, say, philosophers who question the nature of power in society, you need a better name.
I think it probably should have been Injustice with the DC logo in the corner but I still think the game will be good.
