Overview
Jo-Wilfred Tsonga was born in France to a native french woman and an African father from the Congo. He rose to fame after he upset Rafael Nada in the semi-final of the Australian Open in 2008. Rafael was the favorite to win another grand slam in the event. Unfortunately, Tsonga lost to Novak Djokovic in the final. Since then, Jo-Wilfred Tsonga has build a large fan base, because of his aggressive play and charisma on the tennis court. He's since won many titles in different ATP tournaments. Tsonga, however, has yet to win a grand slam, but his quality of play currently has him ranked in the Top 10 of best tennis players in the world.
With the rise of his popularity, Tsonga is starting to appear in licensed sports video games.
