    Overview

    Gael Monfis is a well known professional tennis player, representing France. He is considered one of the most athletically dominate players in the sport today. Coming from an athletic background, his father was a professional soccer player in the Caribbean. Monfis achieved his greatest success so far in 2011 where he reached the top ten, peaking at number seven. Unfortunately, he inconsistency has caused him to quickly drop from the top ten and down to the top twenty. He was able to win some ATP titles, but has not won a grand slam.

    Because of his popularity, he has appear on licensed tennis video games over the years.
