Kunos Simulazioni, started as 1-man company and since has evolved into a bigger developer focusing on creating technology for professional racing simulators.

In 2006, they released their first game netKar Pro. After releasing it, they released several freeware games. The Marangoni Hillclimb Simulator and Trofeo Abarth 500, these were based on netKar Pro and included a few tracks and 1 car.

In 2010, Kunos Simulazioni partnered up with Ferrari to create Ferrari Virtual Academy. Just like netKar Pro it was a realistic simulator game that included several Ferrari cars and tracks.

In late 2011, they announced Assetto Corsa. Which will be their next major realistic simulator and they have attached several major car licenses and tracks to their game. The game is supposed to be released later in 2013.
