    Gameplay

The game centers around the struggle to survive on a seemingly deserted jungle island. The player is tasked with finding food, water, and shelter, as well as exploring the island later on. In order to complete these tasks, players must create tools and find items throughout the world. In addition to scavenging, it is possible to hunt and fish for food using spears and other weapons.

The top screen displays meters for strength, hunger, water, and overall health while the bottom screen is used for the gameplay. Progression occurs by exploring more of the island which is usually limited by tides, the amount of items you can carry, and hunger.

Survival focuses heavily on crafting things from the driftwood and materials you find on the island. Crafting uses a mini game where the user must trace shapes quickly and accurately. The game also incorporates the microphone by having the player blow into it to start a fire.

    Characters

    • Keith - The player character. Can create tools and store items and tools in his backpack.
    • Skye - The only other survivor on the island, Skye's poor eyesight prevents her from leaving the safety of the cave. She will cook, keep fires burning, and talk with the player when they return to the shelter.
