    Luck

    Concept »

Luck plays an integral part in some role-playing games. Good fortune can greatly increase your chance of finding better loot, scoring critical hits, etc.

    Short summary describing this concept.

Luck refers to when the Random Number Generator within games is represented by a stat which can be adjusted through equipment and character attributes. In the Fire Emblem series of turn-based strategy RPGs, luck has an effect on the player's chance of hitting and the opponent's chance of landing a critical hit in return.

In Fallout New Vegas, this extends outside of combat and non-combat skills to also play a part while engaging in the casino games.
