Many games have ammo. In some, you can design your own. Ammo is put in a weapon and fired as a projectile.
A baseball bat is a smooth, wooden or metal club used in baseball to hit the ball, although many games use it as an accessible and effective blunt melee weapon.
A baton is a weapon used mainly for law enforcement. Kurtis Stryker from the Mortal Kombat series uses a baton.
A furniture that provides a place to sleep. In video games, often used to regain health, skip time and *ahem* other activities...
The "liquid of life" for practically all beings. In games, most commonly found outside the body and can be found in a pooled, spilled, dried, fresh or splattered state. This page is for games that actually have blood as an obtainable object.
A wall that has been covered in blood. Either the blood was on the wall before the player arrived, or it is dynamically created by the player's actions.
This term can refer to both a visible shot onscreen in a shooter, or a round that has been fired from or currently loaded into a weapon.
Cars go places. Hopefully fast.
A cattle prod is a handheld tool most often used to coerce livestock to move by striking, poking, or electrically shocking them. Cattle prods in the gaming world are most commonly used to shock and momentarily incapacitate enemies.
Rifle-like thrower of bolts/arrows. Not to be confused with a bowcaster.
Crowbars are commonly used to open nailed wooden boxes. They are also, however, excellent weapons. Epitomised in the phrase: "Aliens have invaded the Earth. Here's a goddamn crowbar."
Doors are a common object in most video games, as well as the keys and objects needed to open them. From role playing to shooters, doors are an important component of many games.
Drums can sometimes be used to hide under instead of being used as storage containers.
A fire extinguisher is a device used to control or extinguish small fires. Fire extinguishers are filled with pressurized (and often toxic) extinguishing agents designed to douse and subdue flames.
A truck used for carrying garbage.
Used to burn people in Postal, and also used as explosives.
Glass is a transparent substance made from compressed sand.
A saw with a fine-toothed, narrow blade that can be used to cut metal.
Large scissor-like tool used in trimming bushes and shrubs.
A knife is a commonly seen object in video games. Usually used for close quarters combat, or as a cutting tool.
The Kuruma is a common sedan found in the GTA series. It's name is simply the Japanese word for "car."
An apparatus that fires nails or rivets. Not always designed as a weapon, but most often used as one.
A telephone is a device used to communicate verbally with another person over a long distance. Audio signals travel to and from both phones involved, allowing the users to hold a conversation in real-time.
A pistol is a very basic hand-held side arm, usually used in case of low ammo or tricky situations. They have appeared in many types of games.
Plastic bags are used for carrying things and used by psychopaths to suffocate their victims.
Tool used to hold objects firmly, or for splicing and bending strong materials such as wire or cables.
A bladed object used for removing unwanted hair from the face and body.
As the name suggests, this is a shotgun whose barrel has been sawed off closer to the firing chamber to make it more portable. It has a much shorter range, but is easy to manoeuvre and is easy to conceal.
A piece of furniture for holding and storing items.
The most powerful weapon at short range. Effective against Zombies, Nazis, Demons, etc. Videogame shotguns tend to have exaggerated inaccuracy at long range- real life shotguns are still fairly accurate over a decent distance, while videogame shotguns rarely go more than fifteen feet before becoming completely ineffective.
