The rumor also stated that Dr. Octopus, Frank West, Juggernaut & Phoenix Wright will be revealed next week during the Captivate event  and that the new stage will be a courtroom from the Ace Attorney series.

It's great to see Apocalypse and Juggernaut on the Marvel leak list. I just hope they'd get Venom over Dr. Octopus and perhaps Cyclops or Gambit over Iceman. Elektra and ms marvel are fine but they should not forget Squirrel Girl

On capcom side, I'm so happy that Mega Man X and Phoenix Wright is in!",) I'm cool with Strider Hiryu, Gene and Frank West. I'm fine with Jon Talbain but I'd prefer BB Hood or Jedah.
So, BB Hood or Jedah over Gail please.

And we need more women from Capcom so add Ingrid from Street Fighter.

If this is true then I'm fucking hype for Doc Ock, Ms. Marvel (hope she has some callbacks to Rogue) and Talbain.

Don't get so excited. There have been so many rumours coming from this game it's crazy.  
If these characters were to be added, I'd definitely be happy but I'm not getting excited until I see the confirmed truths.

Gene would be amazing.

Apokalypse was giant last time he showed up. You sure this isn't a list for Super MvC and Apokalypse is the new boss? 
Also--Elektra. What? No. Marvel has a serious issue developing good female characters if they're already using Elektra. Kick-Ass may be a smidge overrated but just a reminder, Marvel, you do own that IP. Show Icon publications some love.

Also, if that's true, that's a lot of characters for $5 a pop. $70 right there (plus $10 for the existing two DLC characters).

I have to think once a certain number are out they're selling character packs that average out to say 3 dollars per character or something.

5 dollars is ridiculous for 1 DLC fighter... But with that said, I would gladly drop 5 bucks on Phoenix Wright.

Considering that Lupinko has said that this isn't his list and it originated from a website he never goes to, I'm not going to give this much thought.
 
 
 
Besides, there's no way that an unplayable support NPC from the first game would make it in over Regina or Dylan.  That'd be like putting Brad or Barry over Jill/Chris.

I want Gene and Wright for sure. They should switch Frank for Chuck.

I would pay $5 for Phoenix Wright if this was true. Of course, $5 is still way too much for some of these characters.

The books on Icon are creator-owned, meaning that Marvel doesn't have the right to say "put that character in".  That is strictly up to the creator themselves.  Therefore, if Mark Millar said "put Hit Girl in", then they could do it.  Icon is merely a publishing label that goes through Marvel.  Icon itself was started and is run by Bendis.  Also, knowing Mark Millar, I'm surprised that everyone from all of his comics ever aren't already in their own fighting game.  That guy would sell his grandma's severed hand for a quick buck.
