I accidentally clicked on effing *Jacob* when choosing a person to make the force field... I think Mordin died because of that.
I had to fix that. ME3 without Mordin = unimaginable.

Game » consists of 21 releases. Released Jan 26, 2010
After a violent death by an unknown force and a timely reanimation by the human supremacist organization Cerberus, Commander Shepard must assemble a new squad in the seedier side of the galaxy for a suicide mission in the second installment of the "Mass Effect" trilogy.
Poll: How Many people died in your original Mass Effect 2 Ending?
is it just me or does mordin tend do die a lot during the suicide mission?on my first playthrouh he survived though, the crew also survived but tali, jack and thane all died cause i didnt care about upgrading any part of my ship
How do they die? If you pick Grunt to do all the security hacking stuff or let the baldy women lead a squad?
" How do they die? If you pick Grunt to do all the security hacking stuff or let the baldy women lead a squad? "
- If they are not loyal to you.
- If you start the suicide mission too late (you take your sweet time doing other stuff when you can actually commence the final mission).
- If your ship isn't completely upgraded.
- If you send crew to do stuff during the suicide mission that doesn't befit them.
Those are the variables that can make members of your team die.
I was really disappointed no one died in mine. Made the ending have no emotional resonance in the slightest.
My first playthrough no one died. My last playthrough I lost Mordin and Jack though. it was slightly traumatizing
Miranda and Legion weren't loyal and I lost both. I thought the suicide vents mission really was suicide and Tali was up for boning so I sent the robot. I took Miranda and Thane on the last bit and Miranda died under some rubble. I sent the crew back on their own - suckers bought the farm.
I looked up the formula for how to get everyone to live even if you've got a few dissenters and saved the day. Tali was the only one who'd drop her drawers for me, though.
i tried to get miranda killed but she would not die.......so 0 people died on me. but i wouldnt have mind if miranda did bite the dust could not care less about her.
but it brings out some good questions what will happen if everyone dies including shepard? or if just shepard dies? how will the story continue?
and also can the illusive man be trusted with the collector base? i sure as hell dont trust him.
anyone have an opinion?
My first play through no one died, I had been meticulous about doing things and I guess made the right choices on who to send where. Unfortunately, I have now lost every one as every save on my 360 went bye-bye not so long ago.
I am currently on my second play through of Mass Effect, and working towards level 60, I plan to go back through ME2 and get my whole crew back. I can not believe everything I have worked on over the past four years or so here is just gone, but out of everything my Mass Effect saves were the worst. I could have even dealt with losing everything except my ME saves, as I intended to go through the sequel again anyway. I guess it gave me a reason to go back and hit up the originals DLC, which I had bought but never played. Thirty hours into Mass Effect now, no idea how long it will take me to get from 56 to 60, and then ME2 to go! I really want to check out the new Shadow Broker DLC too.
garrus, jack, samara, thane and a few others died in my first playthrough
however, on my second, none died.
Only 2. I didn't fully upgrade my ship, so I lost Thane before I started. Then Mordin had to go and get himself killed right at the end.
I chose to destroy the base because the Illusive Man is a douche.
I lost Mordin, Miranda and Tali.
I voted for none but then remembered Kelly being turned into a thickshake. So one, if we're counting her.
Where's the rest of my crew? i saved everyone on the mission, but don't the rest of the crew come back?
Mordin died. I have to admit while I normally don't go back and replay something to change the result in Mass Effect, I did go back to change this one thing. I love Mordin too much. Now if it had been Jacob....I'd have laughed over is burning body. Jacob is so shalow and generic. The security cam footage of Jacob....what could he be doing in his private time? Oh...working out with his top off. Didn't see that one coming. Fuck off, Jacob.
Just one for me. I picked Zaeed to lead the team. I knew I should've picked Garrus as soon as I tapped the button.
No one. I'm something of a completionist, so I decided to do my first run-through of mass effect 2 on insane difficulty or whatever it's called, so that I could rack up all the achievements at the same time. and I did everything I could before moving on in the main quest because one of my friends warned me that bad shit happens if you don't.
