Great Mission if your Itching for more Mass Effect!

Some people have rediculously high expectations for DLC, they think it should compliment the main game when it's really ment as an extra optional mission for fans who just can't get enough of.  Having said that i think this is a nice addition to an already fantastic game.  The mission itself isn't very long but the main focus of the pack is the chacter Kasumi, who you can recruit and take on other missions through out the main game.

If you downloaded the free Zaeed pack then it is pretty much like that.  Kasumi is a fully fleshed out character with a heavy past and some interesting dialog.  You'll recruit her right as first land on the Citadel, there is a terminal which you us to contact her and she will introduce herself before joining your crew.  Her loyalty mission entitled "Stolen Memory" consists of two parts, combat and stealth.

The combat part is interesting because you only have two characters in your squad(Shepard and Kasumi).  This requires you to play a little more tactically to compensate for the missing squadmember.  If you are playing as an infiltrator then theoretically you'd be able to do a lot of damge since you have not only your own cloaking device but Kasumi's.  Simply shoot an enemy with your sniper rifle then send Kasumi to sneak around and punch em in the back.

The stealth part of the mission is quite different as it involves no combat at all(there are a few similar missions in the main game but not quite like this).  Without giving away much of the story, it involves you crashing a rich business tycoon's party where you have to complete a number of objectives to gain access to his secret vault.  One thing i liked about the stealth phase which may same minor is that you can over hear the various party guests gossip about some of your exploits in the game(depending on what point you do the mission).

There is also a new weapon that you recieve in this mission which is a slightly more deadly version of the SMG with a longer range.

I'll probebly be called a fanboi for giving this 5 stars and i can understand if some think it's not worth the money but i like to see it at face value.  I truly enjoyed this mission and if your a hardcore Mass Effect enthusiast then you should download this pack.

      Short but Sweet 0

The idea of paying for new downloadable content for our games is still a young idea. There is still always that question of of how much should one pay for a set of maps or two hours of new single-player content. The question comes to my mind over Mass Effect 2's new downloadable character, Kasumi.  One thing to note about the DLC pack is it's length. I beat it in under a hour. €7 ($7) for just under a hour of content isn't the most pleasing of prices. It all really depends on how much you value ...

Kasumi steals the crown for the best ME2 loyalty mission! 0

Stolen Memory has to be taken in the context for which it was so obviously intended.  Not as simply a bonus mission.  Nor as "The Further Adventures of Indiana Shepard", but as an extra character for your suicide team.  And a bad-ass addition Kasumi is!  You see this sexy and mysterious thief can turn invisible!   " A-ha!" I hear you say, " My Infiltrator Shepard can turn invisible!"  Well, can your Shepard turn invisible, sneak up behind an enemy in a fire fight, stab that dude in the back and ...
