Best Metal Gear Solid Game EVER!

Yes. This is the best MGS game ever. I am not exaggerating. Metal Gear Solid has been known for its amazing cutscenes, great gameplay, groundbreaking graphics, and awesome sound. This hasn't changed. What has been reinvented, however, is the control scheme. The new controls make it easier and more fun than ever to control Snake.

In Metal Gear Solid 4, the player assumes the role of Snake as he tries to stop Liquid Snake from taking over the world. It sounds cliched, but it works well through gorgeous cutscenes. Amazingly, this game also ties all loose ends from all MGS games.

The game is easy to play with a reinvented control scheme and the ability to switch from a third person to first person view point. You have the option to run into battle, guns blazing, or go for a more traditional MGS feel, and sneak through enemy lines to reach your goal.

The game looks amazing, every last texture is polished, and you'd be hard pressed to find anything that looks bad. Is easily the best-looking PS3 game thus far.

MGS4 sounds great with its amazing voice acting and music. You'll have to constantly be reminding yourself that you are playing a game, and not watching a movie.

MGS4 has something for everyone, whether it be a longtime fan or a brand new player to the MGS universe. This is one must buy game.

    Rating: 5/5

It pretty much answers every question you had on its previous entries. Metal Gear solid 4 has been completely re hauled in the gameplay department. It plays very different from it's predecessors. Although at the same time it's more accessible to western audie...

MGS4 blurs the line between cinematography and gameplay. 0

Metal Gear Solid has always been praised (and sometimes bashed) by it's long cutscenes, movie-style cinematography and mind bending plot twists. Metal Gear Solid 4 continues this trend by not only reaching this goal, but by blasting it into hyper-space. But what hasn't been done well in a Metal Gear Solid game is a perfect control system, an in-depth and varied gameplay and intense action, to which Metal Gear Solid 4 not only improves upon these elements, but perfects them.Snake's final chapter ...
