Overview
Newcastle-upon-Tyne is located in the north east of England, well known for it's working class heritage and culture the city is well known throughout the UK aswell as Europe and is a popular spot for travel. Famous landmarks include; the Tyne Bridge, crossing the river Tyne it's design is similar to that of the Sydney Harbour bridge, St. James' park, the stadium for the city's football team, Eldon Square, a war memorial in the city centre, which is a popular hangout for so called "goths" and skaters alike. The City and it's surrounding area are also famous for the "geordie" accent.
