In a post Life is Strange world, nothing about this game measures up.

Oxenfree is a fine game but in a post Life is Strange world, nothing about this game measures up.

The visual design is well done but very plain, even the supernatural elements to this game just came off as boring.

The controls are very basic, there is no action here, just walking around the world, I did like how the conversion choice controls worked, basic but work very well.

I didn't attach to any of the characters in this game, there isn't enough of an introduction and splitting that short time between five characters doesn't give enough time to any of them to make me give even the slightest crap when it hits the fan later in the game. I think it would have been a lot better if they had focused on 2-3 characters.

The choices didn't seem to matter.

The mystery was boring and didn't go anywhere.

I wanted to like this game, but I just didn't.

All hopes for a fun night on the beach quickly fade as Alex inadvertently awakens a supernatural force that puts the group’s lives in peril. Over the course of the night, You must help Alex and her friends get through...
