Well, I'd be okay with having the PSN turned back on as compensation.

My inner "I know Sony" self is telling me that whatever they give us is going to be stupid. But this is probably the biggest thing to happen to Sony since, well, ever, so my inner "hopeful" self is hoping that we get something worthwhile.

People are saying, since they are "relaunching" the PSN(As opposed to just turning it back on) that there may be new stuff there. A certain chat that can be initiated across different games, if you will. But I doubt it. We've come to a point in time where we can see that it won't be here until the PS4.

EDIT: But I don't really care about that stuff. I'd just be happy with being able to play games online. :)

They almost definitely won't/shouldn't give people a month/week or whatever of PSN Plus for compensation. Most people are forgetting the fact that the stuff you get from PSN Plus no longer works after your membership expires. This would just seem like Sony capitalizing off of this by giving people free games, then a couple weeks later being like, " OK you want to keep playing those? 50 bucks. "

Because they would only be giving it to me with the hopes that I pay for future use of it once the free period ends.  I won't give them that hope or satisfaction. "

A xbox live subscription

3-12 months of PSN+ or a free game that I like (been thinking about getting Outland) would suffice for me.  More important to me though is that Sony highlights the steps taken to make sure my information is protected.

PSN is free to begin with, so nothing. I guess only the people who paid for PSN Plus should get something in return.

If they were smart they would do a Steam like sale, 50-80% off everything for a couple days. It would promote sales and make people enter their credit card information again so they gain what they have lost. If I was in charge I would do that, DO YOU HERE ME KAZ!!!!!!

free stuff is always good, but $10-20 credited to your playstation wallet would be great.
