Morrowind comes to mind. It was my first open-world game and I had to save up an entire year after buying the game to get a pc that could run it. The first time I walked into Stormwind and saw all the players in WoW was also really memorable.
Not even a little. The first game was disappointing and I rage quit the second game during the mission you had to steal a car and evade police. I'm really looking forward to Valhalla though.
I think that's partly why I get very frustrated with Rogan because there are clear moments sometimes when he pushes back in a really meaningful way and if he did that more to some of his more out there guests then that would be helpful in a way.
But the approach of I just wanna hear interesting shit from whoever will tell it to me is fine until you are as big as he is and then it's real dicey and you need more care than I see from him.
Started to watch him somewhat recently and ended up making the same conclusions. He does fine on pushing back on subjects he's informed on. But on everything else he mostly just lets his guests make there bad pitches and just takes them at their word. Mostly he just wants to here some cool shit, regardless of how accurate those stories may or may not be. Which given the kind of guests and subjects he deals with on the show made it hard watch for me. Ended up removing him from my recommendations. I don't begrudge Ron doing what is best for his career though, I would've done the same in his shoes.
I'm not as down as some people in this thread seem to be on a game based on Suicide Squad. Never watched the movie, but I like the premise. And I've been told mostly positive things about the comics, from couple of friends that used to read those. My problems with Knight aside, Rocksteady still created two of my favorite games of all time. So I'm more than willing to give them a shot.
Honestly I've not paid full price in long while. Given the status of my backlog, I have no problem waiting for price drops or definitive editions. So if a small increase is required for a more healthy industry I'm okay with it. Especially since it wouldn't really have an impact on what I spend on games.
@efesell: I like the final confrontation but it being a choice feels weird. Like the narrative for the entire game feels pointless if you then decide honor IS actually important enough to kill new dad.
I honestly don't understand why Sucker Punch keeps doing that. I thought it was whatever in the first Infamous, but with the sequel it already looked laughably dumb when the huge choose your ending prompts showed up again. Especially when you know (based on their history) they'll be choosing a canon ending anyway for the sequel.
@north6: I only ever played the Ezio games, but I remember being super grossed out that getting layed was legit Ezio's reward for some sidequests.
Which were those? I'm honestly curious, I cannot remember that being the case for any of the women in the Ezio games. There were definitely several damsels in distress, but besides some flirtations I don't remember any of those leading to sex. The only (implied) sex scenes I remember happened at the beginning of AC2 and Brotherhood and those weren't sidequest rewards.
@toughshed: There's a pretty clear "Good" route in that game that I feel like most people ended up doing and I always thought it was kind of a shame.
Yeah, I picked that game up because of the interesting premise. Ended up playing the good guy the whole way. My fault for not experimenting, but I kinda wish the game forced me to make some uncomfortable choices. Also the cliffhanger ending is a major bummer that will probably never get resolved.
