@rorie: I think you will have a lot more fun with this version, since you probably played the Us version back in the day. Since you can customize pretty much everything when it comes to classes. So you can make for example Balthier into White Mage, and Vaan to Monk. For the Re-release they even added the ability to dual-class that you unlock after the first esper.
I have great fond memories of this game but i own/played the Zodiac version when it came to EU. I had no idea how to set gambits so i dropped it, but after a few years revisited and i find this FF the best for me.
Great episode. I'm eager to see how the whole tag team Kiryu and Majima plays out.
@alex: To unlock the locked side reel on the abilities, for Kiryu, you need to beat the district bosses, each one will unlock for the different styles, and the last boss should teach you the new style. As for Mashima for the purpose of unlocking the side reel stuff, you need to beat the different Cabarets. Sunshine will always be your club, and you have to go against the other clubs, each fight should unlock for each style, and for the secret style, you need to beat the last one.
I was not expecting that reveal. Yakuza really has some great twists. Although i read the plot for the new Yakuza I don't really know much about its past, so watching this along is great.

Since the last 4 episodes from Majima, you guys already encountered enough girls to fill the roster, you just need to spend a little money and time on buying the special items the girls need.
@alex: The Girls mood can recover if you let them take a break, by not casting them on duty that day.
I would advise equiping the event finder (its the red button that shows people in trouble on the map) That usually leads to new girls and/or friendships.
In the end Majima works as the same as Kiriyu. If you defeat the first club, a bunch of clubs will open for you to challenge, each with their different strengths. But the great thing about Majima is that you don't need to wait for the collection bar to fill, you can exit and enter the club to progress the business
Edit: You should invest in business, on the CP shop from now on, if you are going to focus on managing cubs, just like you did for Kiryiu when you bought the cooldown for filling in the meter for collection
@hassun Your right they do increase the length of this bit for every episode.
If anyone had doubts on how these guys (Ben and Abby) would fit into the crew, forget them. They mesh very well and in case of Abby that had no internship here I say she has fully embraced the craziness we expect from GiantBomb content.
The first few moments of this game looked like the plot for Fast and Furious (1st movie)
I hope they lean more on racing than on story stuff. Because everyone that buys these games, imo just want to drive fast, drift with easy controls, and do takedowns
I dropped a tear when they couldn't figure out what the Joker is. But wasn't expecting much since this isn't Truck Simulator. These guys know their trucks
