I appreciate the investment you put into these blogs; I think I'm crazy doing two. Looking forward to your inevitable breakdown when you try to explain the plot of later Kingdom Hearts games!
@mormonwarrior: Bloodborne is above Dark Souls II in my book for being a more cohesive experience, if that makes sense. Dark Souls II very much feels like an attempt to throw everything at the wall and see what sticks, and while that leads to the most varied and interesting character building options of the series, it also has some lame bosses and the areas don't feel interconnected in the same way.
Now Demon's Souls... is a game that I'd probably have liked more if I had played it earlier. Not gonna trash it too much, but it very much felt like I was playing a rougher prototype version of Dark Souls 1.
@forkboy: You said what I've been saying ever since Brad put down The Witcher 3 to "wait for the patch that fixes everything". Ultimately, it never surprised me when no one on staff here finished that game, because if there's one thing that the Giant Bomb staff doesn't have a real affinity for as a whole, it's long-ass RPGs more complex than the likes of Skyrim. I haven't played enough of The Witcher 3 to judge if that's some grand tragedy like some people think it is, but maybe we should've seen this coming from a mile away.
