Guys, I have an issue.

I have a regular old ass 3DS and I feel like I should dig it out and catch up on all the games I've missed. Should I a) dig it out or b) buy the new 2DS thingy thing? HELP ME BECAUSE I WANT TO PLAY THE NEW METROID and other games I've missed

I would say my skill level is beginner. Or button masher. Surprise me haha.

I had a nice time with the demo. It's basically System Shock 3 but with shapeshifting creatures running about. I have a few problems with the mimics, not with the whole "let's turn into anything" because I think that gimmick is cool as fuck; I just don't like how hard they are to fight. Maybe I'm just not really good at fighting them, but with the combination of the goo gun and the wrench feels really really hard to get something going. I missed more shots with the goo gun while fighting the mimics compared to the human-shaped creature.

I also really love the music, but hot damn it is LOUD. Again, it's good but man. It's loud and it kind of overwhelms me? I know that I'm not the only one who has brought up the music mixing. However, Mick Gordon is one of the best composers in video games right now.

I think I'm going to pick this up after a week or two. I want to see reviews and see how people react to it, but I think this game has some serious potential in being something really unique from the Arkane folks. The demo gave me hope in it being a good game, but we shall see!

I love books and reading. I run every day because #exercise or something. I also collect Starbucks "you are here collection" coffee mugs? I think it's just fun.

I'm really disappointed. I was trying forever to get it as a gift for my brother and now I won't be able to get one without paying up on eBay. It's kind of lame, and I'm kind of upset, but I just want to get a Switch now. If it ever restocks.

I know that this isn't contributing to the discussion. I think 2017 is a great year so far. We don't know how the end of it will go, but this has been one of the best starts to a year that I can remember.
