Of all time, Jeff reading the Wiiware and DSi downloads at half speed in monotone. I can't find the exact date but I'm pretty sure it was one of the last, if not the last, Nintendo Download segments. Probably late 2010.
@sackmanjones: I had no idea that was in Dark Souls! I never left notes before. It's fun. I just wish the gestures you could add to them worked more often.
@m1m1c: It looks like it's just a flat chunk of health. I was close to full health so it just topped me off. It was a pretty generous amount though.
I was mugged when I was 16. My two friends and I would walk to the 7-11 right outside my neighborhood.
Three guys got out of a car, told us to give them our wallets and before we even had a chance to comply they punched me in the side of the head, knocking me on the ground.
While they were kicking me in my ribs on the ground, one of them pulled out a gun and cocked it, while his friend told him to shoot us. At some point we were able to hand over our wallets and cell phones, then they sped off and continued to point the gun at us from the car while we ran home.
It's the most terrifying experience I've had before.
@jedted: MGS 1 and 2 are absolutely worth going through. You don't learn much about Big Boss himself in those two but they just frame everything in Snake Eater much better if you've played them. I feel like there's more to the context than just a wink and a nod here (e.g. the Raiden mask, Ocelot in general, etc.). Plus once you've played Snake Eater, I think it can be a bit hard to go back to the first two from a gameplay perspective.
Also, I wasn't sure if you meant MGS or old-ass MSX Metal Gear 1 and 2, since they're included in Snake Eater. Those games are cool to look at but I tried to playthrough them and boy, it's rough.
