@zombiepie: Thanks! I'll have to watch out for that other time then. I think I have the benefit of being a late bloomer to the franchise, But I do see the odd comment here and there of long time fans enjoying it less.
So I'll be curious to read where you're coming from.
I haven't played the game so I'm relying on descriptions from others here,
You're allowed to feel however you do about the matter. But it's a problem if you're not seeing the game for yourself, and only being told what to think by other people. That's how misinformation or hateful rhetoric spreads.
But yeah, as was said by someone else earlier they changed the color of the character because what wasn't meant to be blackface was being perceived as such. So hopefully it can go back to being a cute little game for people. :D
@murlin: I think it's in part that the company that made the game, (and dude that designed Chuchel) didn't make the character to be a blackface stereotype. Which is pretty telling if the average person isn't going to see it that way.
If stereotypes were prevalent in the mannerisms of Chuchel then it would have probably been a lot more noticeable.
@nutter:Thanks for sharing. Stuff like that makes this God of War even better, cause I feel like grounding a story with Kratos is no small feat, but if you play those games as you grow up, and they craft a story with a turning point in his life that makes it relatable, I can definitely see this game being much higher on other people's lists.
@sparky_buzzsaw: Thanks! I always try to be creative with it every year. more as a means to entertaining myself. But I appreciate when others enjoy it too!
@frodobaggins: People do say that the second game is better. but I dunno, I think from a gameplay standpoint, I was more used to games like Onimusha and Devil May Cry, that GoW wasn't doing it for me. but there's plenty of Playstation franchises that I eventually came around on. Just a right time right place kind of thing lol
