You will have to link your PSN account to your Steam account, so not likely.
Likely an issue with enabling the keys in time with the release. I'm guessing with yesterday being a Holiday they ended up enabling them today instead of yesterday.
Normal. Playing most games on a higher difficulty doesn't increase the level of fun for me. Only the rare game does this right and I enjoy it.
I don't play games to show how good I am, since I'm pretty average, but just to have fun.
I did love what Alpha Protocol did which is offer up the Recruit profession option that started you off much harder, but then unlocked the much easier Veteran profession once you finished the game as a Recruit. Added a bit of fun to playing it again with the flexibility of trying out a much stronger skill build.

Good examples of this could be many of the movies mentioned here: Eyes Wide Shut, Magnolia, American Beauty, Donnie Darko, etc. It's a lot about opinion, but some of them are critically labeled as pretentious. They attempt to tell something philosophical, dramatic, or reflective of reality but do so in a manner that makes the topic feel more important to explore than it really is.
