@chummy8: There's a bunch of top-down F1 games from that period, mostly JP only like F-1 Grand Prix and Super F1 Circus but one of the few that I remember that has split screen was Battle Grand Prix so might be that.

Yo, Battle Grand Prix might be it. Going to try it on the emulator tonight. Thanks a bunch, this game has been eluding me forever. As you said, there's a ton of top down F1 games.

@cloudleet:Nope, it was definitely either an F1 or an indy car game. It had that style of car.

Here it is again.

I've been trying to think of this game for a while now. I want to say it was for the SNES (maybe Genesis, we had both). Hell it could even be for the Playstation. It had simple graphics so it could be either.

A top down, Indy/F1 racing game with a vertical split screen with the cars driving upwards. It had pixel graphics and the cars weren't 3d. We played this game all the time and now I can't remember the name.

This summer, I built a raspberry pi recalbox emulator. When I put the build together, I figured 64gb would be enough. But after months of messing around with it, I need more space.

What is the best way to upgrade the card? I figured I would have to go through the process of downloading the recalbox image to the card and basically do a clean reinstall. But I also found information about increasing the partition size. But searches I found were unclear and outdated. Do I need to do a new install of the recalbox os or can I use some other program to do it easier?

Thanks for the answers guys, it gives me a great starting point. This is a Raspberry Pi 4, so I am limited by hardware (and storage space) to Playstation at the most. I'll start with 4 for now and maybe eventually try out 7 when I get around to it.

My son and I built a mini nostalgia machine. We have around 700 Intellivision, NES, SNES, Genesis, Playstation and other games loaded on this little thing. Once I got all the mandatory games you need to put on a device like this, I started looking at RPGs I never got around to playing and Dragon Warrior is one of them. My first experience with Dragon Warrior/Quest was playing 11 last year and I loved it. As a kid, I completely skipped over the Dragon Warrior series so it's a blind spot I'd like to fix.

I'm obviously not going to play all of them since I don't have that much spare time. But which one of the classic games (1 - 7) is considered a must play?

For me, it would either be Shadowrun for the Genesis. The open world, the job system, the murder mystery...it's all really good.

Or Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain for the PlayStation. The sequels were 3d action platformers. But the first one was a top down rpg and I want to say it was an open world as well. Not the best games, but some of my favorites
