This is all a bummer to hear. I thought Edge was supposed to fix a lot of the compatibility issues IE had. I hope the problem gets fixed for you soon, duder.
I've been traveling a lot lately, so my 3DS has come in handy. I randomly picked up my last Bravely Default save. Man that game has some personality. Also, like Brad, I'm a sucker for job systems. (Good idea for a thread).
Sorry to hear that, duder. Maybe try taking it back to the store to see if you can at least get a replacement joycon? It doesn't necessarily mean the whole system is shot (even if some of those sync-loss videos going around last week were a bit alarming).
You might also want to check out Blender. It's primarily used for 3D modeling and animation, but it has a pretty robust video editor, too. It's free and cross-platform. It can look intimidating at first; but if I can figure it out, anybody can. There are tons of tutorials out there.
I work in Linux a lot, so Blender is my usual go to for video projects. It won't replace things like Premiere or Final Cut, but it works.
