Man, I really want another Motorstorm after this. They wern't perfect, but damn those games were very fun and stylish.

I don't know Motortorm Pacific Rift was pretty damn perfect to me. The only complaint I have is that the AI became too brutal eventually (same with the first Motorstorm).

I enjoy Rorie a lot. Would love to see him more in regular content, but I know he's swamped in support.

Rorie is terrific, like how is this even a debate?

And your getting better at ribbing with the crew Ben,

I legitimately get excited whenever he is on the podcast.

Yeah, I would love to see more of @rorie in QLs and on the Bombcast occasionally!

This is the second attempt at crash mode now after Burnout Crash and it just looks bad -, bland and no personality. They should just give up and make a proper arcade racer with beautiful tracks, then built up from that foundation with more modes. Somehow these people also seem to think that crash mode was the main draw for a lot of us Burnout fans which I highly doubt. At least it wasn't for me.

What I wouldn't give for Burnout 3 HD. The tracks had so much more 'personality' compared to Paradise's open world.

Yup. I found Burnout Paradise's open-world to be pretty bad. Especially for a racing game. Not a real Burnout game for me.

Burnout 3 is clearly the pinnacle of the series. Paradise just happened to come out at a very special time for Jeff, hence he remebers it so fondly.

Exciting! Welcome to the site to both! :D

I'm already in love with Abby's hair and her love for RDR.

When are you guys going to record in 4K? The video quality is so bad, every TV and monitor sold these days is 4K but the video is 720p and stretched out it's not even watchable.

Stretched? 4K (3840 × 2160) is the same aspect ratio as 720p.

They should bump it up to 1080p, but going 4K at this point is silly.

Not really, everyone and their Mum is producing 4K videos on Youtube now and everyone I know has 4K TV, the poorest of my friends have at least a 1440p monitor.

1080p is like 10 years ago.

You cleary live in a misinformed crazy-bubble and on top of that, you sound horribly arrogant.

I loved the first one but this isn't what I wanted from a sequel.

Yup. The open-world curse strikes again. Turning our great SP experiences into soulless, unfocussed collectathons

@cptbedlam: You should give the Vive launch day video a watch. There's already a few games out there that are pretty good in VR that wouldn't be nearly as fun in a traditional format.

I did watch most of it. What I liked most had more to do with style (TRACER CORE!!) rather than gameplay.

Well, most of these games sure look like overpriced, simplistic shovelware. Some of it strongly reminds me of the darkest of Kinect days even.

I wonder if the trajectory of VR with these controllers will be similar ... "Wow, think of the possibilities" > "I can't think of any besides minigames" > "Ugh, this controls like shit and is really limiting" > Everyone goes back to play games with controllers.

Great coverage, guys! Looking forward to more.

This is my favorite content on the site as of right now. Look forward to the end of Rondo and whatever is beyond.

Yep, for me as well. It's gonna be a sad day when we run out of Castlevania games.

I even hope Vinny plays Lords of Shadow 1 once more at the end. What an underappreciated gem!
