@rorie: Hey Rorie. I purchased a sub this morning but haven't receive confirmation yet to my e-mail account. Not sure how long I should wait before I get one. Let me know if there is an issue with my transaction.

@markini6: Given what you've said about the series, I agree that 2 and 4 are lost causes. That said, give 3 a shot and play until the end of the Virtuous mission. It only takes an hour or two to beat and closes with a big chunk of the story revealed. If at that point you're still not interested, the rest of the game is not going to change your mind.

Mostly digital for me. The Canadian dollar has been weakening lately that's making retailers here hike up prices/less likely to lower prices. Combined that with Sony's aggressive pricing through PS+, the deals are simply better for me online.

@zevvion: I'm kinda with you on ME3. I didn't think it was better than ME2 on my first playthrough at launch, but about a year later I went through the entire series with all of the DLC purchased, and the emotional payoffs you get in ME3 simply are profound. Never mind the ending, but curing the genophage, learning about the nature of the reapers, and ending the Quarian-Geth war were some of my favorite video game moments ever. Don't even get me started on all the laughing and crying I did over Citadel.

Currently Destiny for me but I suspect it will be supplanted by something at E3.

Canadian here and I don't see why anyone wouldn't use a credit card, irrespective of credit scores. I carry a credit card and no cash and use it for all my purchases. I treat it like cash and pay the bill in full each month. That way I have an additional layer of protection from theft and I get to rack up air miles on everything I buy. I'm likely going on a trip for free this year because of it.

Really wish I could have been cooler and picked more indie titles, but those big budget RPGs and action games still can have a profound effect on me.

Anybody tried this game with an iPhone 4? The App Store description says that it's optimized for iPhone 5, so I want to make sure it works on older devices before buying.

As sad as all this is, I am quite proud that Ryan has had such a profound impact on this industry. I've always had it in my mind that Giant Bomb was a fringe outlet and it is so cool to see everyone recognize the importance of our little site's contribution to gaming.

I had plans to go out for dinner with my fiance tonight and had to text her that I was too out of it to make it. I ended up describing it as you did to her, "a guy I knew from the internet died", and she offered no judgement, just sincere sympathy and understanding. She's bringing pizza on the way home while I spend tonight playing videogames and watching Giant Bomb videos in Ryan's honor. I sincerely love this girl.

Sorry for being slightly off topic, but given that Ryan died not a week after his wedding, it's hitting home for me pretty hard. Hold the ones you love close tonight. You never know when it's all going to end.
