Highly doubt someone in Boyes' position would get fired for one game's mixed reception. I think Boyes killed it at Sony and was just looking for something different in Iron Galaxy. I honestly think rounding up indies made him wish he was around development more.
This one was kinda crappy for me. I found their hideout pretty quickly but I spent an hour trying to find the keycard before giving up and blowing up the door. At that point I just went guns blazing and shot the hackers to shit. Felt pretty cool barging in there after an hour of frustration, but I still think it's lame that the keycard is apparently on some guard without indication. I spent hours staring at jam jars in the kitchen trying to think of a connection instead... that was pretty annoying.
I first joined the site for the Flight Club videos. It's sad that we'll likely never see the trio of Drew, Dave, and Vinny ever reform for another video. :(
This trailer is kinda odd because a decent amount of the actual gameplay and combat stuff they show seems to be from the base game.
They did the same thing with Bloodborne's Old Hunter DLC trailer. They showed a bunch of footage of players using new stuff in the base game, but there ended up being a ton of content that wasn't the trailer. Hopefully its the same case here.
Could the box itself look cheaper because they're trying to cram more hardware in it at a decent price point? Could that be a thing? I don't know much about how these things get priced out.
